Vibration Sensors

Vibration sensors measure either relative or absolute movement of a rotating machine. They are available with numerous output types depending on the application. A vibration transmitter has an analog output for use with a PLC for general machinery health monitoring. Dynamic sensors, whether they are accelerometers, velocity sensors or proximity sensors, have a millivolt output. They are often used in combination with a vibration analyzer or a vibration monitor to protect and analyze the condition of rotating equipment in a process.
