Applications

Here's how some of our customers use this product...

Measuring pH of Wastewater with 2% Suspended Solids

The Background: Our customer makes water treatment skids used to treat wastewater in the food and beverage industry. They seek a reliable means of testing the pH of wastewater prior to treatment.

The Problem: The customer needs to measure pH and temperature in a 3-inch pipe. The wastewater often has suspended solids up to ~2% so the sensors will need to be cleaned without shutting the process down.

The Solution: We suggested the GF Signet 2756-WT pH electrode which is designed for wet-tap installations using the GF Signet 3719 Wet-Tap assembly. With the wet-tap assembly users can easily access the electrodes for cleaning or re-calibration without shutting down the process.
