GF Signet is now offering CPVC inserts for most of their metal fittings in order to reduce lead times. PVDF inserts are still available for these fittings but will have an extended lead time and must be ordered as special.
- All standard GF insertion type sensors (Paddlewheels, 2551 Magmeters, and pH electrodes) are limited to a maximum temperature of 85°C (185°F), except for the P51530-Vx and Tx of 100°C (212°F)
- PVDF maximum temperature rating is 100°C (212°F)
- CPVC maximum temperature rating is 93.3°C (200°F)
Description
GF Signet installation fittings are designed to secure insertion style flow sensors into position and control the position of paddlewheels and electrodes in relation to the dimensions of the pipe. Use the proper fitting for your system to obtain the best results.
Metalex fittings are only for use with Metalex flow sensors.
Consult the fittings' datasheet to insure you select a fitting appropriate to the installation.
