Description
The Extech CA200 and CA250 clamp-on adaptors easily turn your multimeter into a 200A or 400A AC clamp meter.
The Extech CA200 has a 16mm (0.62") clamp jaw, 1mV AC output per amp, ±2% basic accuracy and is CAT II-600V, CAT III-300V; CE approved. The Extech CA200 clamp-on meter requires no batteries.
The Extech CA250 takes AC/DC current measurements to 400A and has a built-in non-contact AC voltage detector. The CA250 fits virtually any multimeter with standard shrouded banana plug sockets and has a 1.2" (30mm) clamp jaw. AC/DC current measurement is taken in two ranges: 0 to 40A (10mV per amp output) and 0 to 400A (1mV per amp output). Other features include ±2.5% basic accuracy and DC zero adjust.
The Extech CA200 series ships complete with built-in 3.8ft (1.1m) cable with banana plugs and two AAA batteries (CA250 only).
