Compressed Air Dew Point Sensors
The dew point is the temperature at which the water vapor in air condenses into liquid water. It’s an important parameter for compressed air applications since increasing pressure of an air sample also increases the dew point temperature which results in more liquid water being introduced into your application. Though many compressed air applications are not affected by this additional water, many are and require heaters to dry the air prior to use. Monitoring dew point in these applications is crucial to keeping your process free from water contamination as well as to lower costs associated with drying.
