Open channel flow meters by Pulsar Measurement, the trading name of Greyline Instruments, accurately measure the flow through flumes, weirs, partially filled pipes, and other types of open channels making them ideal for wastewater, stormwater, effluent, industrial wastewater, and irrigation water applications. Open channel flow meters can even be configured for use in irregular or compound channel shapes. The best possible accuracy will result when the water is not highly turbulent and where velocity is evenly distributed across the channel.
