Description
The ifm efector SP Series Flow Sensor offers broad measuring capabilities with setting ranges of 3-300 cm/s for liquids and 100-15,000 cm/s for gases, offering greatest sensitivity at 3-100 cm/s and 100-7,500 cm/s respectively. Response times range from 1-10 seconds for both media types, with a temperature gradient tolerance of 30 K/min. The unit is ATEX and IECEx certified (II 2G Ex ia IIC T4 Gb) for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, though the type test considers only atmospheric pressure conditions (0.8-1.1 bar), requiring user assessment for applications outside this range.
It is designed for connection to VS4000 monitor, and features a G 1/2 external threaded process connection.
