Description
The Ashcroft GC51 rangeable pressure transmitter is a uniquely compact pressure transmitter, ideal for monitoring pressures in process automation, hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, and in tank level applications where consistent, reliable pressure measurement is essential. The Ashcroft GC51 rangeable pressure transmitter is equipped with a field-proven thin film sensor and can monitor a wide variety of wet or dry media.
Available in ranges from 0-50 to 0-7500 psi and compound ranges up to -15/50 psi, the versatile Ashcroft GC51 rangeable pressure transmitter includes a min/max hold feature to record high and low pressure events. A rugged aluminum NEMA 4X/IP 65 enclosure measures only 2.65 inches in diameter and incorporates a backlit LCD display for local reading. The Ashcroft GC51 rangeable pressure transmitter output is a two-wire configurable 4 to 20mA signal that can be adjusted to re-range the transmitter or tare unwanted fluid head preloads.
Other features of the Ashcroft GC51 rangeable pressure transmitter include internal push-button configuration, which allows for quick range changes and a scaling function which allows the display to indicate arbitrary physical units. The loop check function is included, which allows the unit to output 4 to 20mA without applying any pressure.
