The KOBOLD RCD differential pressure flow meter is suitable for monitoring water and water-like liquids. The RCD measures flow using the orifice principle. The metering orifice, located within the flow body, generates a differential pressure that varies with flow rate. This differential pressure is applied to a measuring bellows and is linked to either a 270° mechanical indicator or a Hall-Effect transducer signal feeding our integral compact electronic or full-featured electronic display and controller. The metal design has no moving parts to wear out and features an ultra-rugged design for high reliability and long service life.
The unique design of the Kobold RCD Series differential pressure flow meter features a single measuring bellows making its accuracy unaffected by system pressure fluctuations. The meter movement is a single fulcrum lever design which is simple, yet very reliable, with a minimum of wear parts. Kobold RCD Series differential pressure flow meter is available with bronze or stainless steel bodies ranging in size from 1/2" NPT to 3" NPT. The various electronic display and control units offer a variety of options such as digital or bargraph displays, adjustable switches, and flow transmitters.
