AWS Testing Standard
The American Welding Society (AWS) is a vocational organization with the global mission of advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.
AWS publishes industry standards for the welding and joining of metals, plastics and other materials to promote safety and health in welding. All AWS standards are approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ensuring a strict set of rules and requirements have been followed which serve to govern the standards approval process.
