Description

The PIE 901 Wireless Diagnostic Loop Calibrator can be used at any access point in a 4 to 20mA DC loop. The calibrator can be used to simultaneously power a 2-wire transmitter to measure its output, and can also Source & Read to 24.000mA or simulate a 2-wire transmitter. Source up to 24.000VDC to calibrate voltage inputs. Measure from -60.000 to +60.00 VDC to check loop power supplies and batteries without carrying a separate multimeter. Pressure modules may be connected via a cable or wirelessly with future PIE Bluetooth pressure modules. The calibrator is designed to withstand rugged conditions and comes with a color display, making it ideal for use in the shop, field, or on the bench.

The PIE 901 is suitable for calibrating recorders, digital indicators, stroke valves, or any instruments that receive their input from a 4 to 20mA loop or voltage devices. Values can be easily and quickly set to within 0.001mA or 0.001V with the adjustable digital potentiometer "DIAL" or by using preset LO 4.000mA (0.00%) and HI 20.000 mA (100.00%) EZ-CHECK settings. Any three mA or V output values may be stored for instant recall.

The PIE 901's large color LCD also includes a "DARK MODE" for calibrating in bright sunlight, which can be deactivated when used indoors. The PIE 901 is calibrated on equipment traceable to NIST and includes a Certificate of Calibration.
