Description
The Ametek Jofra RTCt-168 Reference Temperature Calibrator Touch features dual-sensor capabilities, allowing the unit to calibrate two sensors simultaneously, improving efficiency and productivity. This dual-input system eliminates the need for sequential calibration, allowing for parallel processes that streamline workflows and reduce downtime.
The RTCt-168 supports calibration of sanitary sensors up to 84mm in diameter, offering increased flexibility in handling diverse sensor sizes. This expansion adapts to the evolving needs of industries relying on temperature-sensitive processes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of sensor dimensions. The RTCt-168 also offers a special insert for calibrating sanitary sensors using a dry-block method. The RTCt-168's dedicated sanitary sensor insert eliminates the need for adapters or multiple calibrators. This approach simplifies the calibration process, saving time and effort. Short sensors are accommodated seamlessly, and adapters for different models are also available, offering a tailored calibration solution.
The RTCt-168 incorporates features such as accelerated magnetic stirring, reversed airflow, and improved rate control to provide advanced temperature control and sensor protection. The accelerated magnetic stirrer provides an extended temperature uniformity zone, particularly beneficial for shorter sanitary sensors. This enhancement ensures precise and reliable calibration across a broader range of sensor types. The reversed airflow system expels hot air from the bottom of the calibrator rather than the top. This design shields the sensors under test from heated exhaust air, preserving their integrity during calibration processes and ensuring long-lasting performance. The enhanced rate control ensures precise temperature adjustments, providing greater control over the calibration process and offering consistent, accurate results.
A Dynamic Load Compensation sensor is available with B and C models. The accompanying DLC technology measures the temperature in the calibrator's insert and continuously corrects for temperature variations caused by different sensor loads. This allows the RTCt-168 to maintain uniformity in the well, supporting calibration of multiple or thermally demanding sensors without compromising stability or repeatability.
