Description

The Dakota Ultrasonics PR-9 is a precision, ultrasonic thickness tester with a dedicated design for the racing industry. It is ideal for quickly and accurately measuring and mapping the thickness of cylinders & decks on engine blocks, ports on heads, and chassis tubing for car builders and sanctioning bodies. The T-101-400 NHRA Chassis Tubing Probe comes standard.

The PR-9 features three material calibration options: single point, two point, and target velocity for increased accuracy. It also includes a high scan feature that takes 100 readings per second making it easy to simply drag the transducer up the side of a cylinder wall to find the thinnest measurement over the area scanned. Cylinder mapping software is available for manually creating reports.
