Description
Rice Lake's SCT transmitters are designed for PLC systems that require weight data from a scale without requiring a full-size weight indicator/transmitter. The SCT-1100 and SCT-2200 signal conditioning transmitters can be utilized as an independent or dependent four-channel digital junction box. Both units are capable of reading the net, gross and tare weights, clearing, semi-automatic and presettable tare, scale switch and setting of outputs and application thresholds.
The SCT-1100, specifically, allows for the direct reading and diagnosis of each individual connected load cell or summed as a whole. Additionally, the SCT-2200 features HUB mode, which allows up to 16 transmitters to be connected to one fieldbus. A double RS-485 port if available for quick network connection and the second serial port also allows for printer management. The SCT-1100 and SCT-2200 are both designed for standard DIN rail mounting with power supply and enclosures and feature a red LED display with six digits (8mm) and six LEDs to show active functions.
