The IKM PC705M IS pressure calibrator is compact and rugged. It was originally designed for use on offshore drilling rigs, offering reliable performance under the most severe conditions. Each unit is calibrated against precision pressure equipment which is traceable to national standards and each unit is supplied with a calibration certificate.

The PC705M features high accuracy and stability which is achieved by use of a piezoresistive transducer with a built-in temperature compensation. Unlike some other pressure calibrators, accuracy is maintained while decreasing pressure which makes the unit ideal for verification of hysteresis. All units are calibrated in positive as well as in negative direction.

You can switch the engineering units between these options: bar, mbar, hPa, kPa, MPa, PSI, kp/cm2, cmH2O, mH2O, inH2O, ftH2O, mmHg, and inHg.

Here's how some of our customers use this product...

Calibration of Shipboard Pressure Gauges and Switches

The Background: Our customer is transportation company that maintains a small fleet of ferries and other ships. They require an effective means of calibrating shipboard gauges and pressure switches.

The Problem: Pressure calibrations aboard a ship present unique difficulties, particularly the extremely tight locations in which many of the gauges and switches are found. Additionally, calibrators need DVN approvals for shipboard use.

The Solution: We recommended the IKM PC705M, a highly compact and rugged pressure calibrator. Originally designed for use on offshore drilling rigs, the PC705M offers reliable performance under the most severe conditions and the most hard-to-reach spaces. The PC705M has DNV approval for the Marine Market.
