The Transmille 8600 Series Frequency Standard is designed to calibrate a wide variety of handheld and bench frequency counters and phase meters, with a fully variable output. The source mode offers three dedicated terminal sets (A, B, HF), and measurement via two terminal sets (LF and HF).

Output A is a fully variable GPS referenced output up to 10MHz, with a variable output level up to 5V pk-pk. Output B features a user configurable phase/time delay with fully variable GPS referenced output of up to 10MHz and a variable output level up to 5V pk-pk. Output C is a high frequency output offering a dedicated fully variable frequency output from 10MHz up to 1GHz allowing a full range of meters to be calibrated.
