Description
The Honeywell 1226A0382 MPD Interface Adapter is a required accessory for integrating the Multi-Purpose Detector (MPD) sensor with the Honeywell S3KDMK Duct Mounting Kit on the XNX Universal Transmitter. Without this adapter, the S3KDMK duct mount kit is only compatible with XNX EC electrochemical sensors. When the 1226A0382 is added, the combined assembly extends duct-mount capability to MPD catalytic bead and infrared (IR) cartridge sensors, enabling detection of flammable gases in HVAC duct and air handling applications.
What's Included
The 1226A0382 includes the MPD interface adapter only. The gasket, mounting hardware, and duct penetration hardware are part of the S3KDMK Duct Mounting Kit, which must be ordered separately. Both the 1226A0382 and the S3KDMK are required for a complete duct mount installation with an MPD sensor.
