Alicat Scientific Whisper Series Mass Flow Instruments

The Alicat Scientific Whisper series of mass flow meters and controllers are designed to fit the needs of customers whose processes are too sensitive for traditional flow measurement and control instruments. With high-sensitivity differential pressure sensors and a flow path that virtually eliminates frictional resistance, Whisper series meters have very little pressure drop and can be added to a system without inducing backpressure or significantly affecting volumetric flow measurement.

The very low pressure drop of Whisper series mass flow meters and controllers make them ideal for applications with pressures just above or below atmospheric pressures, particularly those at high altitudes where the Whisper series’ low pressure drop can negate the effects of lower atmospheric pressure. The Alicat Scientific Whisper series of mass flow meters and controllers also excel at measuring volumetric flows, calibrating volumetric flow instruments, leak testing, and flow characterization.
