The Optris CSmicro 2W LT infrared thermometer is ideal for measuring non metallic surfaces in high ambient temperatures. It has a temperature range of -40 to 1886°F and high temperature resistance, operating in temperatures up to 356°F without additional cooling. The CSmicro 2W LT saves space by housing electronics in the cable with a small stainless steel sensing head.

The scalable 4 to 20mA analog output also includes a simultaneous alarm output. Additional functions include aiming support, self diagnostics, and temperature code indication. The CSmicro 2W LT also features peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis. Optional CF lens are available as 0.8mm at 10mm (15:1) or 0.6mm at 10mm (22:1).

The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download, and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
