Description

The Druck IO624-LPA low pressure accessory provides automated pressure generation and control up to ±500 mbar (50 kPa/7.25 psi) when combined with the PV624 pressure controller and DPI620G calibrator. It is designed for precise and repeatable calibration, with a 12-month uncertainty of 0.05%, and is particularly suited to large-volume applications where stable pressure control is required.

The IO624-LPA supports automated calibration of differential pressure gauges and low-pressure process transmitters without manual pumping. Its automatic pump technology helps protect sensitive devices from overpressure, while the rechargeable Li-ion battery supports extended field and workshop use. Through the Genii ecosystem, the system can also integrate pressure modules and support electrical, pressure, RTD, thermocouple, and HART calibration.

For higher-pressure applications, the PV624 can operate in hybrid mode, extending the system's range to 20 bar (2 MPa/300 psi). This mode uses manual pressurization with automatic control during vent-down, allowing the same instruments and workflow to support both low- and higher-pressure calibration tasks.

Typical applications include HVAC and process systems, HEPA/ULPA filter monitoring, room and duct pressure measurement, cleanroom and containment environments, and semiconductor facilities. The system can be used for room-pressure cascades, airflow and fan verification, VAV calibration, and positive- or low-pressure applications such as load-lock and pre-vacuum stages.
