The E+H Field Xpert SMT70B field communicator is a tablet PC designed for configuring and managing field devices in both hazardous (Ex zone 2) and non-hazardous environments. Intended for commissioning and maintenance personnel, it supports Endress+Hauser and third-party instruments with digital communication interfaces. The device includes a pre-installed driver library, touch-enabled interface, secure Bluetooth connectivity, and support for both wired and wireless communication protocols. It can be used throughout the device lifecycle for configuration, maintenance, and documentation tasks.

The SMT70B tablet also integrates with the Netilion Library application, which stores and manages device-related documentation in the Endress+Hauser cloud. Key functions include automatic device recognition, fast connectivity, and real-time updates to support mobile asset management and maintenance workflows.
