Description
The TDS501 dew point sensor measures very low moisture levels in compressed air and industrial gas systems. It measures dew point temperature from -94 to 86°F Td with ±3.6°F accuracy and calculates frost point temperature and volume concentration (ppm) from the same measurement principle.
It uses a capacitive multi element sensing system (E+E Quattro Sensor) with continuous auto calibration to reduce long term drift and maintain stability at low humidity levels. Output options are 4 to 20mA analogue or RS485 Modbus RTU for standard industrial integration. The sensing element tolerates temporary condensation during process transients such as startup or rapid humidity changes. Response time varies with filter type, with faster response using low restriction configurations. The housing is stainless steel 316L with IP65 protection and is rated for compressed air systems up to 1160psi.
