Description

The Druck DPI610E-Aero pressure calibrator is designed for precision leak testing of aircraft pitot-static systems. It operates as a single-channel unit that can test either altitude or airspeed, with built-in manual pressure and vacuum generation and venting. The device supports aeronautical unit conversion and includes functions for leak testing, switch testing, and calibration verification.

The DPI610E-Aero incorporates a pneumatic system that limits maximum rates of climb and descent to protect sensitive aircraft instruments such as rate-of-climb meters. Under typical conditions—with a 5-meter hose and a total system volume of 1 liter—the maximum simulated climb rate is ±6000 ft/min. It offers multiple pressure fitting options (AN4, AN6, Hansen, or Staubli), each with an integrated valve for controlled return to ambient pressure.

An updated version of an earlier model, the DPI610E-Aero features a high-resolution display, improved interface, and updated pressure sensing technology. It is designed for portability and reliability in field testing, including post-maintenance checks such as pitot or air data computer replacements, as well as broader applications like drone and eVTOL system testing.
