The Beacon 3200 is capable of controlling up to 32 separate gas detection sensors. Sensor types can be direct connect, 4-20mA (2 or 3 wire), or Modbus transmitters. The controller can be powered by either 115 VAC, 220 VAC, or 24 VDC. A battery backup option is available and receives its trickle charge from the Beacon 3200. It is simple to operate and comes complete with a wall mount installation kit.

The large 7in color LCD touchscreen can access control and maintenance functions as well as display all 32 channels. The Beacon 3200 is housed in a NEMA 4X rated case for a weather tight seal. The case design complies with lockout / tag out standards and can be fully secured. An external reset switch allows alarms to be silenced from outside the controller housing. Nine conduit hubs at the bottom of the housing allow for easy wiring.

With an Ethernet port, the Beacon 3200 can output all channel data including gas readings and alarm stats via a Modbus TCP/IP. This allows users to monitor the readings from a distance. RKI offers a selection of standard and toxic gas detection sensors, which can be utilized with the Beacon 3200, providing gas monitoring protection for industries such as: petrochemical plants, refineries, pulp and paper mills, and water/wastewater treatment plants.
