Description

The Bently Nevada Orbit 60R/PIM power input module occupies a special-purposed slot located in the Orbit 60 chassis. Every chassis must be powered through at least one 60R/PIM and each chassis requires its own 60R/PIM and power sources. The 60R/PIM is a half-height module that connects an external power source to the system. Each Orbit 60 Series chassis supports two stacked redundant power input modules. When both power inputs are utilized, failure of one power source does not affect the operation of the system.

The 60R/PIM supports input voltages ranging from 21-32Vdc. The most common power source comes from external DIN rail mounted AC/DC 24Vdc output power supplies.

You can remove and insert a single Power Input Module without disrupting system operation as long as another 60R/PIM remains installed and connected to its input power source.

The PIM employs out-of-range protection for mis-wiring, over voltage, and over current protection for the input power sources.
