Description

The Fluke 3561 FC vibration sensor starter kit includes four 3561 FC vibration sensors and one 3502 FC gateway and gives users the ability to perform condition monitoring remotely. Measuring just 2.42 inches high by 0.95 inches wide, the Fluke 3561 FC sensors operate using Low Energy 4.1 Bluetooth and have a 3-year typical battery life. These Fluke vibration sensors capture one data point every 90 seconds and users can view a continuous stream of real-time and historical vibration data from remote assets.

When measurement data is transmitted from Fluke 3561 FC vibration sensors to the Fluke Connect Condition Monitoring app, via the 3502 FC gateway, data visualization includes vibration trend for all three axes and temperature trending. The gateway is required and allows you to stream measurement data from multiple sensors to the FCCM app via wireless networks to cloud-based storage. Using the Fluke Overall Vibration Severity scale, the 3561 FC sensors feature auto-generated alarms to monitor machine abnormalities. Starter kits can be purchased with a 1-year or 3-year subscription to the condition monitoring software.

Applications

Here's how some of our customers use this product...

Implementing a Predictive Maintenance System

The Background: Our customer is a production facility which has many different types of machines and rotating equipment throughout the plant. They want to implement predictive maintenance systems to help keep the facility running at peak performance with minimal downtime.

The Problem: The maintenance staff is stretched thin trying to keep everything running efficiently. The expense and time it takes to implement most predictive maintenance systems has discouraged the plant from installing them. They are particularly concerned about their rotating equipment, however, and want to be able to monitor the health of this equipment with something more sophisticated than handheld devices.

The Solution: We recommended the Fluke 3561FC vibration monitoring system which constantly monitors asset vibration and temperature values and logs values. The 3561FC is ideal for rotating equipment as vibration is the first sign of wear. The 3561FC is very simple to set up and can by quickly installed on motors, pumps, and fans in minutes. Notifications can be set up and notify the correct personnel as soon as an alarm condition is detected. 3561FC sensors are sold in 4 packs and offer a fast, cost-effective way to monitor assets.
