Description
The Optris CSmicro 3M infrared temperature sensor has a spectral range of 2.3µm for measuring the temperature of metallic surfaces as low as 122°F for secondary metal processing, metal oxides, and ceramic materials. It can even measure through glass. The CSmicro 3M saves space by housing electronics in the cable with a small stainless steel sensing head.
The scalable 0 – 5/10V analog output also includes a simultaneous alarm output. Additional functions include aiming support, self-diagnostics, and temperature code indication, with a programmable functional input for setting external emissivity and ambient temperature adjustments. The CSmicro 3M also features adjustable signal processing, peak hold, valley hold, average, and an extended hold function with threshold and hysteresis.
The Optris Compact Connect temperature analysis software is available as a free download and is necessary to document and analyze temperature measurement data. It is compatible with all netbooks, notebooks, and PC systems via Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8.
