The Megger medium 6kV test leads are designed for clamping on larger diameter test pieces when space is limited. They are made out of double silicon cable; the inner insulation is a different color from the outer sheath so damaged areas are instantly visible. To prevent insulation from compromising the connection each clip is surrounded by moving jaw covers that flex back when the slip is applied to a test piece.
