The Background: Our customer is a sales and service company for commercial refrigeration. They seek a means of accurately measuring the amount of refrigerant they add to systems when recharging them.
The Problem: Most refrigerants are powerful greenhouse gases and are tightly controlled by the Environmental protection Agency. The EPA requires logs are kept detailing the amount of refrigerant used to charge a system, back to factory specifications.
The Solution: We recommended the Bacharach CS100 Charging Scale which accurately and reliably weighs refrigerant tanks during charging and recovery operations.
