Description
The Rosemount 3095MFP ProPlate differential pressure flow meter provides a complete mass flow measurement solution by incorporating the Rosemount 3095 multivariable pressure transmitter with a Rosemount ProPlate primary element producing a reliable, cost-effective flow measuring device that performs extraordinarily well in a variety of applications.
The Rosemount 3095MFP ProPlate differential pressure flow meter is highly effective for gas and steam flows providing a truly compensated mass flow measurement. The unit improves performance by enabling temperature, static pressure, and differential pressure measurement with a single device. This is vital since many process conditions, such as pressure and temperature, can vary significantly for many applications during operation.Reliability is improved by eliminating impulse lines, reducing the possibility of plugging or freezing. The special flange body and bolting design ensures the ProPlate flow meter is centered in the pipe. This unique design practically eliminates the potential for misalignment errors, which are common when traditional orifice plate technology is applied to small line sizes.
Components of the Rosemount 3095MFP ProPlate Differential Pressure Flow Meter:
Rosemount 3095 Multivariable Pressure Transmitter
The Rosemount 3095 multivariable transmitter Accurately measures differential pressure, static pressure and process temperature to dynamically calculate fully compensated mass flow. It is fully scalable and allows users to customize performance, functionality, diagnostics, and connection systems depending upon the application. The 3095 utilizes advanced software and functionality including a 4-20mA signal based on Hart® Communication or FOUNDATION™ fieldbus, user configured flow units, low flow cut-off, and process alerts for pressure and temperature.
ProPlate Primary Flow Elements
Rosemount ProPlate elements are manufactured to meet AGA, ASME, ISO and DIN standards. A number of elements are available to suit particular application needs:
1195 integral orifice plate
Standard orifice plate with a wide range of flow range capabilities, process connections and materials to choose from with direct mounting capability. 1/2 to 1-1/2" range.1595 conditioning orifice plate
Designed to provide superior performance in short straight pipe run, tight fit applications, and upstream flow disturbances. 2 to 24" range.1495 orifice plate
The most common primary element in the world with established standards for manufacture and installation which makes is exceptionally reliable and well understood due to historical flow data. Approved for custody transfer by AGA and API. 2 to 24" range.1496 flange union
Cost effective flow measurement as no on-site drilling of flange taps is required. High temperature and pressure options are available. 2 to 24" range.1497 meter section
Upstream and downstream piping provided with flange union. 2 to 24" range.
