Description

The AEMC 5217 digital multimeter is a handheld instrument that makes True RMS measurements up to 750VAC/1000VDC which are shown on a 6000-count LCD display. The 5215 also measures a variety of electrical and physical quantities including resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature. The 5215 can also perform continuity checks, voltage detection and diode testing (including forward bias voltage). Measurement features include Auto Range mode, which enables the instrument to select the best range for the input detected, and a Data HOLD function. This instrument is rugged and simple to use and rated to 600V CAT III.

Applications for the AEMC 5217 digital multimeter include:

  • Measurement of electrical values including: voltage, resistance and capacitance
  • Continuity checking
  • Diode testing
  • Non-contact detection of network voltage
  • Measurement of Frequency (Hz) and duty cycle
  • Temperature measurement ºC and ºF
