Description

The Extech MO265 moisture meter measures the relative moisture of various building materials including wood, particle board, carpeting and ceiling/bathroom tiles using non-invasive pinless technology. Using the direct pin method, the MO265 can measure the percentage of moisture in sheet rock and other building materials as well. A pin moisture probe offers a third, alternative way for making contact moisture measurements with this Extech moisture meter.

A digital LCD readout with backlighting feature and tri-color LED bar graph quickly indicates the moisture content of materials. Other features of the MO265 include electro-magnetic sensing technology, built-in calibration check and low battery indication. With the non-invasive, pinless technology, the MO265 can measure to a depth of 0.75" (22 mm) below the surface.

Measuring %WME (wood moisture equivalent), the Extech MO265 moisture meter is an ideal tool for any home or business contractor, specifically those that deal with moisture damage. A remote pin probe is included to measure moisture in difficult to access areas. Optional specialty probes are also available as accessories to the Extech MO265 moisture meter.
