Description

The Yokogawa YPC4000 series delivers the convenience and versatility of a modular calibrator and the convenience of HART communications in one handheld unit. Utilizing a variety of interchangeable sensor modules, the YPC4000 series does the work of multiple instruments, making it easier than ever to perform calibrations in the field.

The Yokogawa YPC4000 series modular calibrator is available in two versions. The YPC4000 is the base unit with three modular sensor bays. A voltage and current meter is integral to the base unit. The YPC4010 is a combination base unit/HART communicator. All HART field devices can be configured, polled, and trimmed using this unit. Device specific commands for more than 200 supported devices, including a number of popular Yokogawa products, are available.

The swappable sensor modules are the key to the versatility of the YPC4000 series. Available sensor modules include a variety of differential, gauge, vacuum and absolute pressure as well as voltage, current and temperature.

The YPC4000 series allows users to view up to four measurements simultaneously on the high resolution 2.6" x 2.6" LCD display or compare HART PV and AO values to corresponding values measured. The device is easily navigated via 4 soft keys and 8 hard keys. The unit self tests upon powering up and the installation of sensor modules. A number of functions are includes such as auto shut off, damping, Min/Max value capture, display hold, sensor zero, direct contrast adjustment & tare.
