The FLIR i3 thermal imager is a point and shoot infrared camera that brings groundbreaking affordability to thermography putting high quality thermal imaging in the hands of those who need it most. Now energy auditors, building inspectors, electrical contractors, predictive maintenance specialists, HVAC professionals, insulation contractors, and many more can have fast, accurate, easy-to-use thermal imaging every day.
The fully-automatic FLIR i3 is easy to use out of the box and offers 60 x 60 pixel resolution suitable for everyday, general diagnostic work. The unit is rugged and ergonomically lightweight by design. The FLIR i3 offers impressive infrared image quality with 2% thermal accuracy, < 0.15˚C thermal sensitivity, a large 2.8" color display, and adjustable emissivity. The i3 also includes three image palettes, a focus free lens, a rechargeable Li-ion battery with a 5 hour battery life, and a center-spot measurement mode. Unlike more expensive thermal imagers, the FLIR i3 stores up to 5,000 images in FLIR's patented radiometric JPEG format which permits users to rely on only one image file for temperature analysis and reporting as well as for easy sharing in emails, MSWord documents, etc. The FLIR i3 thermal imager is protected by an unmatched Warranty – FLIR's exclusive Double Diamond warranty covers the whole camera for 2 years, the battery for 5 years, and the detector for 10 full years.
Without the limitations of a laser temperature gun which averages temperatures in a wide measurement area and requires manual scanning of panels, motor surfaces, and other large components, the FLIR i3 quickly and accurately diagnoses problems by showing a large image with precise temperature points, dramatically improving efficiency and worker safety.
