GF Signet 6400 Intrinsic Safety Barrier

The single channel GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barrier can be used with the GF Signet 515, 525, and 2517 paddlewheel flow sensors.

Two versions of the GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barrier are available: one specifically for the GF Signet 515 paddlewheel flow sensor and another for the GF Signet 525 and 2517 paddlewheel flow sensors. Both versions of the GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barrier use a 1/2 inch wide housing which snaps directly to a 35mm DIN rail. Once mounted, the GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barrier forms an electrical connection between the barrier and the rail. The rail serves as the intrinsic safety ground bus when connected to the designated grounding point. Two additional ground lugs are provided with the GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barrier and may be used as a redundant grounding method or for terminating shields.

Each GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barrier also contains a replaceable 160mA fuse cartridge for each channel. Safety barriers are polarity sensitive devices and are available in +DC and AC voltage ratings.

Two GF Signet 6400 intrinsic safety barriers are required for each flow sensor.
