AEMC manual megohmmeters, the 6501 and 6503, are compact, self-contained, hand-cranked true megohmmeters ideal for applications including acceptance testing and preventive maintenance of wiring, cables, switchgear and motors. The easy hand-cranked operation of the 6501 and 6503 provides a steady, DC voltage output across the entire range for consistently reliable readings.

The AEMC 6501 megohmmeter has a 500V test range for insulation measurements from 0.5 to 200MΩ. The 6501 also includes resistance and continuity testing capabilities. The AEMC Model 6503 megohmmeter has 250V, 500V and 1000V test ranges for insulation measurements from 1 to 5000MΩ. Both models include a unique auto-ranging feature which expands the scale ten times.
