The FLIR CM78 clamp meter with IR thermometer is a true RMS, industrial grade 1000A clamp meter for the electrician who needs a safe, capable combination tool. Combining a number of features and backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the CM78 is rated CAT IV-600V and CAT III-1000V.

The FLIR CM78 clamp meter with IR thermometer measures AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, as well as both contact and non-contact temperature. The integral infrared thermometer has a range of -4 to 518°F and is perfect for taking non-contact temperature readings on panels, conduits, and motors. The CM78 is also compatible with type K thermocouples for making contact temperature readings from -4 to 1400°F.

The FLIR CM78 includes a powerful, built-in work light designed to help with clamping but powerful enough to serve as a primary work light. For applications in which connectivity to other instruments or devices is necessary, the FLIR CM78 includes two. METERLiNK technology is included which wirelessly integrates electrical readings on infrared images with FLIR Thermal Cameras. Also, the CM78 includes FLIR Tools Mobile which connects to compatible smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth.
