Description
The VEGA VEGAWELL 52 submersible pressure transmitter is designed for continuous level measurement of liquids. It is commonly used in water and wastewater facilities, deep wells, and shipbuilding applications.
The VEGAWELL 52 transmitter uses a ceramic CERTEC measuring cell to measure hydrostatic pressure from the liquid column. The resulting capacitance change is converted to a standard 4–20 mA output. The ceramic cell provides high overload and vacuum resistance, while integrated overvoltage protection supports reliable operation.
The VEGAWELL 52 is available with 316L, Duplex, titanium, or PVDF construction, with FKM, FFKM, or EPDM process seals and PE, PUR, or FEP suspension cables. Housing options include plastic or stainless steel with IP66/IP67 protection, and electronics are available in 4–20 mA or 4–20 mA/HART with Pt 100 configurations.
VEGA VEGAWELL 52 Submersible Pressure Transmitter Applications
- Overflow measurement on weirs
- Water level measurement for control of groundwater pumps
- Level measurement in ballast water tanks on ships
- Level measurement in oil tanks
