Description

The VEGA VEGABAR 39 pressure sensor is a two-wire 4–20 mA pressure sensor designed to measure gases, vapors, and liquids. It uses a fully welded metallic measuring cell with a stainless steel diaphragm and is suitable for applications requiring robustness and hygienic construction. Pressure ranges up to 100 bar use a piezoresistive sensor with internal transmission liquid, while ranges from 250 bar use a dry strain-gauge system.

The VEGABAR 39 sensor provides local measurement display, on-site adjustment, and a 360° colored switching-status indicator. Configuration and diagnostics can also be performed wirelessly via Bluetooth. The device supports multiple connection technologies and IO-Link communication for integration with control systems.

Wetted components, including the process fitting and measuring diaphragm, are made of 316L stainless steel. Process seals are available in Klingersil C-4400, EPDM, or FKM, depending on the process connection. The housing combines 316L stainless steel and PBT plastic and is available with protection ratings up to IP66/IP67.
