Description

The E+H iTHERM SurfaceLine TM611 surface thermometer is a non-invasive surface thermometer for measuring process temperatures with RTD or thermocouple sensors. It is designed to provide measurement accuracy and response times comparable to invasive temperature measurement while avoiding the need to open the process. A thermal coupling element improves heat transfer to the sensor and limits the effects of ambient conditions.

The TM611 thermometer is suitable for demanding conditions, including high flow velocities and pressures, viscous or corrosive media, abrasion, pigging operations, and small pipe diameters. It can also be installed on existing equipment without modifying the process piping, making it suitable for applications such as energy and safety monitoring.

Because installation does not require process openings, thermowells, nozzles, flanges, or pipe extensions, the TM611 can reduce installation and inspection requirements and eliminate associated leakage risks. It can be combined with an iTEMP temperature transmitter supporting standard communication protocols and optional Bluetooth connectivity. Available certifications include ATEX, IECEx, CSA, NEPSI, and functional safety certification up to SIL, depending on configuration.
