The ACI A/CO2-R2 carbon dioxide sensor monitors levels in commercial, school, and office environments as an indicator of indoor air quality. It uses single-beam, non-dispersive infrared technology to measure CO2 concentrations up to 2,000 ppm. ABC software provides automatic calibration, reducing the need for manual calibration. The sensor converts CO2 measurements to proportional analog outputs, with 0–10 VDC and 4–20 mA as the factory defaults and 0–5 VDC available through field-selectable DIP switches.

The A/CO2-R2 can include thermistor temperature sensing, setpoint, and override functions, depending on the selected configuration. Its outputs can be integrated with building automation systems or demand-controlled ventilation systems to monitor and adjust ventilation based on CO2 levels.
