Description
The ACI PS24 adjustable external power supply is a low-voltage power supply that accepts 24 VAC from a Class 2 transformer and provides a regulated 1.5–26 VDC output. The output is factory set to 24 VDC and can be adjusted in the field using the onboard potentiometer. The unit can be configured for half- or full-wave operation using integral jumper switches.
The PS24 is supplied in a snap-track mounting configuration for installation inside electrical panels or equipment. For applications using a pilot-duty or remote relay, an A/DO008 transorb can be installed across the relay coil to reduce electrical spikes when the relay is de-energized. An external transorb may not be necessary when the relay and PS24 are installed in the same control panel.
ACI PS24 Adjustable External Power Supply Applications
- DC power supply
- Transducer supply
- Test bench supply
- Analog signal simulator
- DC power regulation from control transformer
