The ACI bullet probe thermistor is a temperature sensor designed for air temperature monitoring applications. It features a 1 in. (25.4 mm) long, 304 stainless steel bullet probe with a single sensing point and two wire, non-polarity-sensitive design. The sensor is manufactured using ACI’s double encapsulation process to help eliminate the effects of moisture and improve thermal response. Multiple NTC thermistor output options are available, ranging from 1.8 kΩ to 100 kΩ at 77°F.

The series provides a nominal response time of 10 seconds and offers accuracy up to ±0.36°F from 32 to 158°F for most sensor types. Standard models include 24in etched PTFE lead wires, with plenum rated and zip wire options available. The sensor is rated for operation in 10 to 95% RH non condensing environments and is intended for air temperature measurement applications. The bullet probe should not be fully submerged in water.
