Description
The RKI Instruments SC-9000 Toxic Sample Draw Single-Gas Monitor is a portable gas detection instrument designed for reliable monitoring in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a sample draw pump with a flow rate of 0.5 L/min, the SC-9000 provides fast and accurate gas detection with a choice of 15 gas sensor options, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of toxic gas applications.
The SC-9000 features a digital LCD display for easy viewing of real-time readings, along with peak and average value displays to support comprehensive exposure monitoring. A built-in self-diagnosis system, configurable Zero/Span calibration (manual or auto-zero), and an integrated bump test function help ensure consistent performance and simplify routine maintenance.
Designed for efficient field operation, the SC-9000 includes visual indicators for instrument power and pump operation, adjustable two-level buzzer settings, and advanced IrDA communication capabilities for data transfer. Its onboard data logger records measurement intervals, alarm trends, and station ID information for streamlined reporting.
Flexible power options allow users to choose between a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, delivering up to 60 hours of continuous operation with a 3-hour recharge time, or three AA alkaline batteries providing up to 30 hours of runtime. The rugged IP66/IP68-rated housing offers exceptional protection against dust and water ingress, making the SC-9000 well suited for harsh field conditions.
