Description
The Istec SpeedSys T30 speed monitor is a three-channel speed monitor and switch for rotating machinery, designed for installation on a DIN rail. It supports input signals from 3-wire voltage sensors (Hall-effect and proximity) and 2-wire voltage sensors (MPU), and includes six relays for control and alarm functions. As part of the SpeedSys tachometer series alongside the T10, T11, and T20, the T30 is intended for integration into a range of speed monitoring applications.
The T30 provides monitoring functions such as overspeed, underspeed, acceleration, creep, standstill, reverse rotation, and dynamic sensor diagnostics. It features triple redundant sensor inputs, digital input signals, and a redundant power supply, along with Modbus communication capability. The unit can also function as an extension to the SpeedSys 200/300 SIL-rated overspeed protection system, adding relays, monitoring features, and enhanced Modbus communication.
