Description
The Istec SpeedSys T20 speed monitor is a dual-channel speed monitor and switch designed for speed monitoring and protection of rotating equipment. It converts signals from connected speed sensors into processed outputs and supports both 3-wire voltage sensors (Hall-effect and proximity) and 2-wire voltage sensors (MPU). As part of the SpeedSys tachometer series, alongside the T10, T11, and T30, it provides a compact solution for industrial speed control applications.
The unit offers overspeed, underspeed, and acceleration protection, along with additional monitoring features such as dynamic sensor comparison between channels, reverse rotation detection, creep detection, and standstill monitoring. It includes four relays, multi-channel integrated switching, and communication via Modbus TCP and RTU for system integration.
Designed as a DIN-rail mounted module, the T20 incorporates push-in connectors, redundant inputs for direct sensor and digital signals, and a redundant power supply. Its compact form factor supports efficient installation while delivering comprehensive speed monitoring functionality for rotating machinery.
