Description

The Gizmo Engineering T4 battery powered digital production cycle timer is an easy-to-use timer built to survive the harshest environments. Designed with a rugged waterproof and corrosion-proof IP65 enclosure it is suitable for plating lines, commercial kitchens, factories, and any wet or corrosive environment. It can be programmed to a maximum time of 99 minutes or hours with the two blue side buttons (if included) and features interior DIP switches to change timer modes or set the timer on models without exterior set buttons.

After the timer is set and the time elapses, the device produces a loud 103dB warbling buzzer sound, and the green button flashes to alert the user. The alarm can be silenced by pushing the green button, which also automatically resets the time for the next cycle.

Operating modes for the T4 timer include:

  • Mode 1 counts down from the set time and gives an alarm when it reaches zero.  An early warning is available on the front button LED. The cycle can be canceled by holding the start button. If the set time starts at zero then it counts up. The cycle may be canceled by pressing and holding the front button.
  • Mode 2 is like mode 1 but does not allow cycle cancellation.
  • Mode 4 allows pausing and restarting the cycle until the time accumulates to set value.
  • Mode 5 stops automatically at the end of the cycle.
  • Mode 6 switches the early warning to the beacon LED instead of on the button LED as in mode 1. Therefore the end-of-cycle alarm is on the front button.
  • Mode 7 is a guard duty that requires the start button to be pressed continually or else an alarm sounds.
