Description

The VEGA VEGABAR 29 pressure sensor is a universally applicable pressure transmitter with metal measuring cell for measurement of gases, vapors, and liquids up to 130°C. The optional universal connection for hygienic adapters ensures reduced installation effort and leaner stock keeping.

The VEGABAR 29 is designed for universal use, featuring a completely welded metallic measuring cell that ensures robustness and reliability. It also offers a colored 360° operating status indication. The setup and diagnostics process is simplified through convenient wireless Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to manage the device with their smartphones. Additionally, the system allows easy integration into control systems, thanks to a variety of connection technologies, ensuring seamless compatibility with a range of applications.

The heart of the pressure transmitter is the pressure measuring cell transforming the pressure into an electrical signal. This pressure-dependent signal is converted by the integrated electronics into a standardized output signal. The sensor element in the VEGABAR 29 is a fully completely metallic measuring cell with stainless steel diaphragm. For measuring ranges up to 100 bar, a piezoresistive sensor element with internal transmission liquid is used. From 250 bar a strain gauge sensor element on the rear of the stainless steel diaphragm is used. This dry system operates without additional isolating liquid.

In addition to the two-wire electronics 4 to 20mA, three-wire electronics with IO link and 4 to 20mA (active) and transistor outputs are also possible.
