Description

The Armstrong International Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valve is a compact, high-performance solution for controlling steam, air, and non-corrosive gas pressures. Designed for applications with low to moderate flow, these valves provide reliable pressure reduction with an accuracy of ±10%. The GD-30/30S/45 feature a turndown ratio of 10:1, ensuring efficient operation, and offer tight shutoff in dead-end service on steam systems. The GD-30 is constructed from cast bronze, while the GD-30S is made from stainless steel, and the GD-45 is made from cast iron, allowing for greater resistance to corrosion and higher pressure ratings.

These direct-acting valves accommodate inlet pressures from 15 to 300psig and reduce pressure within a range of 3 to 140psig. The GD-30 is rated for a maximum temperature of 410°F, while the GD-30S can handle temperatures up to 430°F, and the GD-45 rated for a maximum temperature of 450°F. Available in sizes from 1/2in to 2in, these valves support a range of flow capacities with Cv values between 1.3 and 8.5. The internal components, including stainless steel bellows and valve seats, enhance durability and long-term performance.
