Description

The VEGA VEGABAR 28 pressure sensor is a universally applicable pressure transmitter with ceramic measuring cell for measurement of gases, vapors, and liquids up to 130°C. The optional universal connection for hygienic adapters ensures reduced installation effort and leaner stock keeping.

The VEGABAR 28 features a convenient wireless setup and diagnostics with a smartphone via Bluetooth. The device offers high plant availability through maximum overload and vacuum resistance of its ceramic measuring cell. It features a colored 360° status indication for clear and instant visual feedback. For added convenience, setup and diagnostics can be easily managed wirelessly through Bluetooth, allowing for seamless smartphone integration. Additionally, its versatile connection technologies ensure straightforward integration into various control systems.

The heart of the pressure transmitter is the pressure measuring cell, transforming the pressure into an electrical signal. This pressure-dependent signal is converted by the integrated electronics into a standardized output signal. The sensor element in the VEGABAR 28 features the ceramic CERTEC measuring cell, offering exceptional long-term stability and high overload resistance. The wetted parts of the device are made of 316L, PVDF, duplex steel, PEEK, or sapphire-ceramic. The process seal is made of FKM, EPDM, or FFKM, depending on the process fitting.
